Why take a surf lesson in Cabo or a surf tour around Cabo?
In addition to surfing generating a change in your life, as it does every day in our lives, you will be able to disconnect from any topic that you have in your head, problems, stress, anxiety, loneliness, depression by connecting with the nature that returns to the purest. For us, surfing is a way to meditate, something that is talked about so much today within mindfulness and holistic living. We live so connected to technology that we must find ourselves again, with what truly fills us and connects us with life. When we are in the sea waiting for a wave or even above it, we only think about that moment, about the movements we must make to reach the shore with a single wave. That’s part of mindfulness, not thinking about anything other than the here and now, enjoying that precise moment. Now, this is my way of connecting with the present, although I also do other activities such as meditation, yoga, etc., my favorite being surfing.

How do you mentally improve with surfing?
You will achieve mental and physical coordination in this sport that few activities can offer because not only you work all your muscles, but your mind will be in moments completely at peace and relaxation when we wait for the wave sitting at the break point learning how the waves break when they reach the shallowest areas, and we will understand which waves are worth paddling, which isn´t, the place where you should wait for the wave to surf as many times and don´t get to tired.
Mental and Physical benefits on surfing for children

For children, on the one hand, this activity gives them greater security not only in the sea but in their lives by being able to remove fears, give them security, flexibility, synchrony, increase self-esteem while creating new bonds of friendship. Any activity is good and essential in our lives, although outdoor sports and especially in the sea give us another level of zerotony that increases our level of happiness. Being patient is something that if we learn as children it is even better, which is why surfing will give them that seasoning of patience, waiting for the exact moment to catch the wave, because in a surf spot we are generally not alone and we must learn to share these moments with other surfers. They will manage to be resilient by falling as many times and getting up without giving up because we want to catch a wave that brings us closer to the shore as many times as possible and it will always be the last wave to leave until we look for the next one and so on.
Every day we enter the water we have a different goal. Our first time was simply being able to row through the surf, and that may have been difficult for us until we gained strength in our arms. On the second day our goal changes to being able to catch a wave and stand up. Then we will pass more demanding goals such as being able to surf that wave sideways, and so on we will set more goals and challenges that will give us a smile throughout our surf session.
More mental benefits of surfing
Up to this point we have only mentioned the changes that surfing will generate in your mind, but there is also another important change which is the physical benefit that surfing has on your body. It will give you strength in your arms, shoulders, back and legs. You will increase aerobic and anaerobic physical resistance. You will increase your resistance to fatigue since every good wave you take, even if you are tired, you will want to paddle back to the point to find another and another until it becomes a virtuous circle in which you constantly improve.
With surfing you will begin to love that place that gives you so much happiness, trying to join conservation campaigns, beach cleanups and you will even learn about all the magical marine life that exists under the sea.
